 BarstowThe home of Santa Fe's huge desert classification yard and locomotive service facility. The old Fred Harvey House and station are just east of the yard. To the south of the station was the old yard and locomotive service facility. Approximately 12 east of Barstow off of I-40 is Daggett, where the Union Pacific RR breaks away from the BNSF and heads northeast toward Las Vegas.
