The Milwaukee Road #261 from Green Bay, Wisconsin operated an excursion trip on June 22, 2002 from Chicago Union Station to Galesburg, Illinois and return. Lorrie and I followed the train from Downers Grove to Galesburg, and then back to Naperville. It was a hot, humid, hazy day.

We have set up these video files in 2 formats and 2 sizes each, depending on how quick a internet connection you have, and how long you want to wait for the download. We did not set them up to be streamed,so that they can be downloaded to your computer. This takes a little bit longer to download, but there will be no interuption or rebuffering while viewing. Both RealVideo and Windows Media player have the capacity to save the temporary file so that you can keep it and watch it several times without having to download it again.
The 261 is seen here, westbound, whistling for the Belmont Ave. crossing in Downers Grove. 40 seconds.
